Willie Aaron Anderson (born July 11, 1975) is a former American football offensive tackle who played for the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Auburn. He was drafted by the Bengals 10th overall in the 1996 NFL Draft. A four-time Pro Bowl selection, Anderson played his first 12 seasons with the Bengals.

Anderson was selected in the first round (10th overall) of the 1996 NFL Draft and signed a 5 year 11 million dollar deal. He mad Dr Z 's Sports Illustrated All Pro team he was a first alternate to Pro Bowl in 2001 and 2002 season.He was selected to represent the AFC in the 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 Pro Bowls, He only missed 2 games from 1999-2006. He was considered The Bengals Iron Man.

. In his rookie season he was said to be able to bench press 675 pounds. Anderson received a 5 year 30 million extension after the 1999 season his 4th season and Prior to the 2006 Cincinnati Bengals season his 11th with the team|

the Bengals signed Anderson to a five-year contract extension worth $32 million in which he was Guaranteed 20 million

Anderson was asked to be cut by the Bengals on August 30, 2008 after he refused to take a pay cut.

Baltimore RavensEdit

On September 5, 2008 Anderson signed a three-year, $11 million contract with the Baltimore Ravens. Started 10 games for The Baltimore Ravens playing at a Pro Bowl level at age 33 On May 13, 2009, the Ravens placed him on the reserved-retired list. Ravens asked Anderson to reconsider retirement but he stated " wanting to spend more time with his son as a reason not to"

Anderson runs (WASA) WillieAndersonSportsAcademy a sports Program out of Atlanta Georgia. It specialize in training young athletes in football and basketball . It also has travel football and basketball teams that play in front of College scouts to get kids recruited to attend college. He was nominated the Bengals Man of the year 5x and received The "JB Award" 2x from CBS's James Brown for his work in the community with kids in Greater Cincinnati, Mobile,Al and Atlanta, Georgia He is the son of Mary Anderson Steele.He has a son, Jair (born 9-11-1997). h Anderson was inducted to The Mobile Sports Hall of Fame in 2011 He was the Bobby DoddNational Lineman of the year in high school (92) 6a player of the year in Alabama (92), Parade All American and The number 2 player in the country behind Notre Dame's Ron Powlus. a Anderson played at PowerHouse Vigor Highschool in Prichard, Al
