William J. Keller was an American football coach. He served as the second head football coach at Vanderbilt University . Keller coached the Vanderbilt Commodores for one season in 1893, compiling a record of 6–1. He also played and served as team captain for both the 1893 and 1894 seasons.[1] At Springfield he played for Amos Alonzo Stagg .
