Ventrell Jenkins (born November 16, 1984) is a professional gridiron football defensive tackle for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. In college he played on the defensive line for the University of Kentucky for four years (2007–10) playing in 46 games and making 102 tackles and 9.5 sacks. During his time in Kentucky, he played both defensive tackle and defensive end.[1] He was signed with the NFL’s Buffalo Bills on May 1, 2009 but later released by the Bills and signed by the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals on August 25, 2009. After attending training camp with the Bengals he was released on September 5, 2009. Jenkins signed with the AFL’s Jacksonville Sharks on February 9, 2010 and made 11 tackles, 4.5 quarterback sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery in ten games. He was signed as a free agent by the CFL's Hamilton Tiger-Cats on May 31, 2011.[2]
