Anthony W. Parrish (born November 23, 1975 in Los Angeles, California) is a former American football safety. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the second round of the 1998 NFL Draft. He played college football at Washington.
Parrish was also a member of the San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, and Las Vegas Locomotives.
Professional career[]
Chicago Bears[]
Parrish was drafted by the Chicago Bears with the fifth pick of the second round (35th overall) in 1998. He spent the first four years of his career with the Bears.
San Francisco 49ers[]
Parrish signed with the San Francisco 49ers where he had his two best seasons. He had seven interceptions in 2002 and tied for highest in the league with nine in 2003.
Dallas Cowboys[]
After the 49ers released him in 2006, he signed with the Dallas Cowboys.
Las Vegas Locomotives[]
After spending two years out of football, Parrish was signed by the Las Vegas Locomotives of the United Football League on August 31, 2009.[1]
