Professional career[]

Dallas Cowboys[]

In 2005, he was a backup inside linebacker, appearing in 14 games and starting three. In 2006, he lost the battle for a starting Linebacker spot on the Dallas Cowboys teammate Bradie James and was again a reserve.

Tennessee Titans[]

As a restricted free agent, Fowler signed an offer sheet with the Tennessee Titans on March 12, 2007. The Dallas Cowboys did not match the Titans' offer so Fowler joined the Titans.

One June 9, 2008, it was announced that Fowler is under investigation in connection with an apparent steroids case involving NFL steroid dealer David Jacobs.[1]

On September 28, 2008, Fowler was benched by the Titans in favor of 2006 4th round draft pick, Stephen Tulloch.[2] Fowler was waived on September 5, 2009.[3]

New York Jets[]

Fowler was signed by the New York Jets on September 8, 2009, with the team releasing fullback Jason Davis to make room on the roster.[4] Fowler was not re-signed following the 2009 season.
