At Utah State, Robinson was part of a talented group of players on offense who included teammates Kevin Curtis who currently plays in the NFL as a Wide Receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles, Tight End Chris Cooley of the Washington Redskins, and record setting Quarterback Jose Fuentes.

Robinson transferred to Northern Arizona University in 2003 where he played running back during the 2003 and 2004 seasons.
