Rene Paredes (born May 15, 1985, in Caracas, Venezuela and raised in Pierrefonds, Quebec) is a professional Canadian football placekicker for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League. Paredes attended training camp with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2010 and 2011 and after being released, was signed by the Stampeders on July 4, 2011.[1] He played CIS Football with the Concordia Stingers.
