Pernell McPhee (born December 17, 1988) is an American football defensive end for the Baltimore Ravens.[1] Pernell attended Pahokee High School, where he was teammates with Dwight Bentley and Janoris Jenkins. McPhee collected 6.0 sacks as a rookie for the Ravens in 2011.

College careerEdit

He played college football at Mississippi State. He was selected for the All-Conference honors in his Junior season.

In his Sophomore year, He finished the season with 56 tackles and 5 sacks. He was named twice SEC Defensive lineman of the week for the season.

McPhee was drafted in the 5th round, 165th overall pick by the Baltimore Ravens of the 2011 NFL Draft. McPhee collected 6.0 sacks as a rookie for the Ravens in 2011, plus 23 tackles and a forced fumble while playing in all 16 regular season games.
