Paul Gipson was a professional American football player who played running back for four seasons for the Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions, and New England Patriots.
In 1974 Gipson also played in the World Football League with the Houston Texans. He wore jersey number 0 because he maintained he was "starting all over again" after a bout with alcoholism.[1]
