Patrick Graham (born January 24, 1979) is an American football coach who is currently the Defensive Coordinator for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL).

College playing and coaching[edit | edit source]
Graham played college football as a defensive lineman at Yale University, graduating with a bachelor's degree in sociology in 2002. After his college football career, he worked as a graduate assistant at Wagner College while also studying for an MBA. After two seasons at Wagner, Graham moved to the University of Richmond, where he was a defensive line coach in 2004 and then a tight ends coach in 2005 and 2006. In 2007, he was a defensive graduate assistant under head coach Charlie Weis at the University of Notre Dame.[1] Following the 2008 season, Graham accepted a position as defensive line coach at the University of Toledo.
New England Patriots[edit | edit source]
In February 2009 Graham joined the New England Patriots as a defensive coaching assistant,[2] where Weis had formerly been an assistant coach under Patriots head coach Bill Belichick. In 2010, Graham's title was changed to defensive assistant coach. He was promoted to linebackers coach in 2011. In 2012, he moved to defensive line coach, and moved back to linebackers in 2014.
New York Giants[edit | edit source]
In 2016, Graham was hired by the New York Giants as defensive line coach.
Green Bay Packers[edit | edit source]
In 2018, Graham was hired by the Green Bay Packers.[3]
Miami Dolphins[edit | edit source]
On February 8, 2019, the Miami Dolphins announced Graham as their defensive coordinator.[4]
