Kevin Bryant Mathis (born April 29, 1974) is an American football cornerback in the National Football League who is currently a free agent. He has played professionally for the Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints, and the Atlanta Falcons.[1]
Early life[]
Mathis was born in Gainesville, Texas, and attended Gainesville High School.[2] He was a letterman in football, basketball, and track. In football, he was a two-time All-District selection. Mathis graduated from Gainesville High School in 1992. He played college football at Texas A&M University-Commerce.[3]
Professional career[]
Mathis played for the Dallas Cowboys from 1997 to 1999, the New Orleans Saints from 2000 to 2001 and for the Atlanta Falcons from 2002 to 2006.
