Kavis Reed (born February 24, 1973 in Georgetown, South Carolina) is the head coach for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League. He was named the 19th head coach in Eskimos history on December 10, 2010 after signing a three-year contract.[1] Reed formerly played for the Eskimos from 1995 to 1999 before suffering a career-ending neck injury.

Reed lives in Edmonton during the off-season with his wife Darlene and their two children, Tyra and Tarik. Other immediate family members include: mother Mary Dean Reed and sisters Dionnia, Ashley, and Sasha Reed all of South Carolina.[2]
