John Wesley Swain (born September 4, 1959 in Miami, Florida) is a former American football cornerback in the National Football League. Swain was drafted out of the University of Miami by the Minnesota Vikings in the fourth round in the 1981 NFL Draft. He played a total of 7 seasons in the NFL for the Vikings, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Miami Dolphins. He now works the halls checking students for their ID cards (and sometimes asking them to remove their hats) for a high school in Minneapolis, Minnesota called Patrick Henry. He is the Founder and Executive Director of the Next Level Foundation, a non-profit created to foster a commitment to youth in order for tomorrow's generation to be set for success.

He is now the Ex-Patrick Henry football team's Head coach.
