John William Rienstra (born March 22, 1963 in Grand Rapids, Michigan) is a former guard who played seven professional seasons for the National Football League's Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Browns. Rienstra attended Temple University.
In 1986, the Steelers had their highest draft pick since the early 70's (9th overall). They used it on a guard from Temple named John Rienstra.
