John Bowman (born July 19, 1982 in Brooklyn, New York) is a professional Canadian football defensive end for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Daytona Beach Hawgs in 2005. He played college football for Wingate.
Bowman has also played for the Rome Renegades.

Indoor Football[]
In 2005 Bowman signed with the Daytona Beach Hawgs of the National Indoor Football League. Following the 2005 season Bowman signed with the also of the Rome Renegades NIFL.
Canadian Football[]
In 2006 Bowman signed with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. He recorded 12 sacks in three consecutive seasons, and a minimum of 7 sacks every year excluding his first season in the CFL. Entering his 8th season as an Alouette, at the age of 30, Montreal extended his contract for 3 more seasons. [1]
