Joe Spencer is a former defensive tackle in the National Football League. He was originally drafted in the nineteenth round of the 1945 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. Later he was a member of the Brooklyn Dodgers during the 1948 NFL season and the Cleveland Browns during the 1949 NFL season before playing two seasons with the Green Bay Packers.
