Jason Barnes (born April 11, 1984 in San Jose, California) is a professional Canadian football wide receiver for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League. He was originally signed by the Central Valley Coyotes as a street free agent in 2007. He then played for three seasons with the Edmonton Eskimos. He played college football for the Sacramento State Hornets.

Personal life[]

His older brother, Matt Barnes, currently is playing for the Los Angeles Clippers in the NBA. On Nov. 27, 2007 Jason and Matt's mother, Anne, died from stage 4 lung cancer.[1]
