Jake Rodgers (born September 10, 1991) is an American football offensive tackle for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Eastern Washington. He was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the seventh round (225th overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft. Rodgers has also been a member of the New York Giants, Carolina Panthers, Houston Texans, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Baltimore Ravens.

Atlanta Falcons[edit | edit source]

Rodgers drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the seventh round with the 225th overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft.[2] On September 4, 2015, he was waived by the Atlanta Falcons.[3]

New York Giants[edit | edit source]

On December 8, 2015, the New York Giants signed Rodgers to their practice squad.[4] On January 4, 2016, Rodgers signed a reserve/future contract with the Giants.[5] On September 3, 2016, he was waived/injured by the Giants.[6] He was released from injured reserve on September 12.

Carolina Panthers[edit | edit source]

On November 29, 2016, Rodgers was signed to the Panthers' practice squad.[7] He was released on December 13, 2016.[8] He signed a reserve/future contract with the Panthers on January 4, 2017.[9] On May 2, 2017, Rodgers was waived by the Panthers.[10]

Pittsburgh Steelers[edit | edit source]

On May 5, 2017, Rodgers signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers.[11] He was waived by the team on September 2, 2017.[12] He was re-signed to the practice squad on September 20, 2017, only to be released six days later.[13][14] He was re-signed on October 18, 2017, but was released again on November 6.

Los Angeles Chargers[edit | edit source]

On November 15, 2017, Rodgers was signed to the Los Angeles Chargers' practice squad, but was released two days later.[15]

Pittsburgh Steelers (second stint)[edit | edit source]

On November 20, 2017, Rodgers was signed to the Steelers' practice squad. He was released on December 21, 2017.

Houston Texans[edit | edit source]

On December 21, 2017, Rodgers was signed to the Houston Texans' practice squad.[16] He signed a reserve/future contract with the Texans on January 1, 2018.[17] He was waived by the Texans on May 1, 2018.[18]

Pittsburgh Steelers (third stint)[edit | edit source]

On May 2, 2018, Rodgers was claimed off waivers by the Steelers.[19] He was waived on September 1, 2018.[20]

Baltimore Ravens[edit | edit source]

On December 12, 2018, Rodgers was signed to the Baltimore Ravens practice squad.[21]

Denver Broncos[edit | edit source]

On April 22, 2019, Rodgers signed with the Denver Broncos.[22] He was waived on September 1, 2019 and was re-signed to the practice squad.[23]
