J. R. Ruffin (born July 8, 1982, in Detroit, Michigan) is a Canadian football defensive back who is currently a free agent. He most recently played for the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League. He was signed by the Calgary Stampeders as an undrafted free agent in 2006. He played college football at Idaho.
