Harold U. Hirsch (October 19, 1881 – September 25, 1939) played football at the University of Georgia from 1900 to 1901, studied law at Columbia University and was the general counsel for The Coca-Cola Company for more than thirty years.

Hirsch is credited[citation needed] for being instrumental in the development of the unique shape of the Coca-Cola bottle and the logo in 1913. In 1932, a new building was completed for the University of Georgia School of Law, a building named Harold Hirsch Hall in honor of Hirsch.
