Greg Knox (born September 10, 1963) from Rosebud, Texas is an American football coach. He is the running backs coach and special teams coordinator at the University of Florida. He has been Dan Mullen's running backs coach since 2009, having been hired by Mullen at Mississippi State University. Although Knox was due to follow Mullen to Florida, he served as interim coach of the Mississippi State Bulldogs in their victory at the 2017 TaxSlayer Bowl. After Dan Mullen was fired from the Florida Gators, Knox took over as the team's Interim head coach for week 13 (Florida vs Florida State) and a bowl game. The gators won Florida Vs Florida State and the bowl game hasn't taken place yet at the time of writing this.
