George Verdell Nock (born March 4, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland) is a former American football running back. He played in the American Football League for the New York Jets in 1969, and in the National Football League for the Jets and Washington Redskins.

Nock attended Morgan State University from 1964 to 1969 where he received a B.S. in Psychology. Nock was a star running back while at Morgan, he also received All-American honorable mention, All-CIAA, All-State, and All American-Black Colleges. He was named captain of the team for two years.[1]
