Erick Scott Anderson (born October 7, 1968) is a former American football linebacker in the National Football League. He played college football for the University of Michigan. He won the Butkus Award in 1991.
College career[]
Anderson led the Wolverines in tackles for four straight years.[1] Anderson's 286 career tackles ranks second in school history at the University of Michigan:[2] He was a team captain and earned All-American honors in 1991.[1]
Professional career[]
Anderson was drafted in the seventh round (186th overall pick) of the 1992 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Chiefs (1992–1993) and the Washington Redskins (1994–1995).[3]
