Eddie Deon Moore (born July 5, 1980 in Chattanooga, Tennessee) is an American football player who currently plays linebacker for the Denver Broncos. He went to high school in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. He was a four-year letterman and two-year starter at the University of Tennessee and finished his career with 219 tackles, six sacks, 13 pass deflections, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. He was a second round draft choice (49th overall selection) by the Miami Dolphins in the 2003 NFL Draft. During the 2006 offseason, he was traded to the Saints for LB Courtney Watson.[1] This trade was later vetoed due to Moore failing his physical.[2] On January 16, 2007 he was signed to a future contract by the Broncos.
