Doug Chapman (born August 22, 1977) is a former running back in the National Football League who was drafted in the 3rd round in 2000 by the Minnesota Vikings, where he played from 2000 to 2003. He signed with the San Diego Chargers in 2004, and retired in 2005 after a back injury.
Chapman is now a color commentator for the ESPN network. He often does the MAC Game of the Week for ESPN Plus. He attended Marshall University, where he played with Chad Pennington.
