Donovan Woods (born July 27, 1985) is a free agent American football linebacker. He was signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He played college football at Oklahoma State.

He has also been a member of the Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills.

College careerEdit

Woods played in 49 career games for the Oklahoma State, excelling first as a quarterback and then as a safety after converting during the middle of the 2005 season. He was named defensive MVP of the 2007 Insight Bowl during his senior season and also set an OSU freshman record with 13 touchdown passes in 2004. He majored in general business.

Professional careerEdit

Woods appeared in six games for the Super Bowl Champion Steelers in 2008, mostly on special teams, but was released on November 22, 2009 and was promptly picked up by the Dallas Cowboys practice squad, where he spent the remainder of the 2009 season.[1] The Cowboys cut him in July 2010 to make way for their new draft picks, and he was quickly signed by the Bills.
