Derrek Adams Richards (born December 12, 1983) is a former American football wide receiver.
Life[]
He played high school football at American Fork High School, in American Fork, Utah where he scored 22 touchdowns in his senior year. He also ran track, setting the school 100 meter dash record with 10.7 seconds. He was also the track captain, and he finished 2nd in the 100 meter and the 200 meter dash at the Utah state championship. He played collegiately for the University of Utah where he was a walk-on. On May 16, 2008, he signed a 3-year deal as an undrafted free agent. It was announced that Richards will play for the Utah Blaze for the 2010 season in March 2010.
