DeMario Davis (born January 11, 1989[1]) is an American football linebacker for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Jets in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He played college football at Arkansas State.

New York Jets[]

The New York Jets drafted Davis using their third round selection in the 2012 NFL Draft.[2] Davis was praised by head coach Rex Ryan whom likened some of Davis' leadership attributes to those of Ray Lewis.[3] Davis signed a four-year contract on May 31, 2012 worth approximately $2.9 million.[3]
