Craig Carter Dunaway (Lake Charles, Louisiana) is a former professional American football tight end who was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League and the Michigan Panthers of the United States Football League. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 1983 NFL season after being drafted in the eighth round of the 1983 NFL Draft.[1] He had also been selected in the USFL territorial draft by the Panthers.[2] In college, he had played for the Michigan Wolverines football team of the Big Ten Conference. He attended Upper St. Clair High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.[3]

He accumulated 55 receptions for 775 yards and eight touchdowns at Michigan.[4] He wore #88 and earned varsity letters for the 1980-1982 teams.[5] Both the 1980 and 1982 teams were Big Ten Conference Champions and went to the Rose Bowl.[6][7] He started all 12 games for the 1982 team,[7] and he finished second to Anthony Carter in receiving.[4] He had his career high 110 yards receiving in his final game as a Wolverine in the 1983 Rose Bowl. He led Michigan in yards from scrimmage that day.[8]
Today, Craig works in the advertising business, for the past 11 years with Perich Advertising + Design in Ann Arbor. He and his wife, Geri, live in Birmingham with sons Jack and Carter, and Brittany Spaniel Woody (not named after the former Ohio State coach).[citation needed]
