Jacoby Fleener[1] (born September 20, 1988) is an American football tight end for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). After playing at Joliet Catholic Academy during high school, Fleener played college football at Stanford University. He was drafted with the 34th overall pick by the Colts in the 2012 NFL Draft, where he was considered a top tight end prospect.[2]

College career[edit | edit source]

Fleener was named an All-American by as a senior in 2011.[3] At the NFL combine, Fleener benched 27 reps of 225 at 6-6 244, though he did not run because of an ankle injury. [4]

Professional career[edit | edit source]

Indianapolis Colts[edit | edit source]

The Indianapolis Colts made Fleener the 34th overall selection in the 2012 NFL Draft after drafting his college quarterback, Andrew Luck, 1st overall.[5] Fleener was the first tight end drafted in the 2012 NFL draft.[6][7]

On July 25, the Colts and Fleener agreed to a 4 year deal. [8]
