Bradley James Pyatt (born April 16, 1980 in Arvada, Colorado)[1] is a former American football wide receiver who played in the National Football League and Arena Football League. He was signed by the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2003. He also played college football at Kentucky and Northern Colorado.

College Football Career[]

While attending Arvada West High School, Pyatt earned All-Colorado and All-American honors in 1998 and 1999, and during his junior year he helped lead the school to the Class 5A state championship. In 1999, Pyatt signed with the Kentucky Wildcats, despite scholarship offers from Southern California, Colorado and Miami.[2] After 3 years, during which Pyatt had surgery on his feet and saw less game time than he wanted, he decided to transfer to the University of Northern Colorado.[3] While playing for the Bears, his best game came in the team’s 23-12 victory over the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division II playoffs, during which Pyatt caught seven passes for 126 yards and scored two touchdowns.[4]

NFL and Post-Football Career[]

Pyatt signed a free agent contract with the Indianapolis Colts and played 3 seasons as a kickoff returner with the NFL team.[5] Pyatt also played NFL seasons for the St. Louis Rams, Miami Dolphins, Pittsburgh Steelers, Will Smith and the 2007 and 2008 AFL seasons for the Colorado Crush.[6]

After his career in the NFL, Pyatt founded the MusclePharm Corporation, a nutritional supplements company, and he currently serves as President and CEO.[7]
