William E. "Bill" Fincher (November 12, 1896 – July 17, 1978) was an American football player and coach. He played college football as an end and tackle at the Georgia Institute of Technology . Fincher also coached college football for one season. In 1921, he led the William & Mary Indians football team to a 4–3–1 record. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a player in 1974.
