Arkansas Baptist College (ABC) is a private, historically black liberal arts college located in Little Rock, Arkansas. Founded in 1884 as the Minister's Institute, ABC was initially funded by the Colored Baptists of the State of Arkansas. It is the only Baptist HBCU west of the Mississippi River.

Administration[]

Its current president, Dr. Fitz Hill, the 13th president in the history of the college, is a former professor at UCF and a former head football coach at San Jose State University.

Athletics[]

The school's baseball team competes in Region 2 of the National Junior College Athletic Association. The school's baseball program plays part of its schedule at Gary Hogan Field in Little Rock.
