Alan Sheffield Ball (born March 29, 1985) is a former American football cornerback in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Chicago Bears. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the seventh round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played college football at the University of Illinois. He was a contestant on the 35th season of Survivor (Heroes v. Healers v. Hustlers), where he placed 15th.
Early years
Ball attended Saint Martin de Porres High School in Detroit, Michigan where he helped his team win the 2001 state championship in football. He finished with 15 interceptions, including six in his senior season postseason.
Also a standout track & field athlete, Ball received All-State honors after winning back-to-back 110-meter hurdles state titles as a junior and senior.[1]
