Al Joseph Johnson (born January 27, 1979 in Brussels, Wisconsin) is an American football guard who is currently a free agent. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the 2003 NFL Draft. He played college football at Wisconsin.

Johnson has also played for the Arizona Cardinals, Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots.

He missed all of the 2003 season due to a knee injury, but returned during the Cowboys' 2004 season.

Arizona Cardinals[]

Johnson played for the Arizona Cardinals from 2007 to 2008.

Miami Dolphins[]

Johnson played for the Miami Dolphins in 2008.

New England Patriots[]

An unrestricted free agent after the 2008 season, Johnson, signed with the New England Patriots on March 16, 2009. He was waived with an injury settlement on August 6.

Personal[]

Johnson is a cousin of former Wisconsin teammate and NFL offensive lineman Ben Johnson, who was also drafted in the 2003 NFL Draft.

Al Johnson is currently retired from football and is a Morning Show Personality on WSRG, which he also owns.
