Al Holcomb is an American football coach. From 2009-2010, he served as the defensive quality control coach for the New York Giants before becoming a defensive assistant in 2011. In 2012, he was hired as the linebackers coach for the Carolina Panthers.
Early career[]
From 2006 until 2008, he served as the defensive line coach for the Lafayette Leopards. In 2008, they led the league in total and scoring defense.
Professional career[]
In 2009, he joined the New York Giants as the defensive quality control coach. In 2011, he was promoted to defensive assistant to Perry Fewell. He won a Super Bowl ring with the Giants in Super Bowl XLVI. On January 26, 2013, he was hired as the linebackers coach for the Carolina Panthers.
