The 2012 Miami Hurricanes football team represents the University of Miami during the 2012 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Hurricanes are led by second year head coach Al Golden and play their home games at Sun Life Stadium. They are members of the Coastal Division of the Atlantic Coast Conference.

For the second season in a row, the Hurricanes self–imposed a bowl ban on themselves with regard to the status of a current NCAA investigation into whether or not they followed the university's compliance practices.[1]
