On Monday, May 7, 2007, the owners of 8 teams not owned by the league joined together to change the schedule. The result is that all but 10 teams were prevented from playing the 10 teams that joined in the new group. These were the standings and divisions of the league as of May 7. The remaining teams had the option to continue playing games, but none of them did.
