The 1995 Oakland Raiders season began with the team trying to improve on their 9–7 record from 1994. After 11 weeks the Raiders had a 8-2 record and were a game behind the Chargers, they then lost their last six games to finish the season at 8-8 and last place in the division. The 1995 season was the team's return to Oakland after being in Los Angeles for thirteen years.
