The 1994 San Diego Chargers season began with the team trying to improve on their 8–8 record in 1993. It ended with a loss in Super Bowl XXIX loss to the San Francisco 49ers. As of 2010 it is the only time the team has made the Super Bowl. The team wore throwback uniforms for one game during the season.
