The 1972 Oregon State Beavers football team represented Oregon State University in the Pacific-8 Conference (Pac-8) during the 1972 college football season. In their eighth season under head coach Dee Andros, the Beavers compiled a 2–9 record (1–6 against Pac-10 opponents), finished in last place in the Pac-8, and were outscored by their opponents, 295 to 131. Andros lost to Oregon for the first time as head coach of the Beavers. The team played its home games at Parker Stadium in Corvallis, Oregon.
