The 1965 Richmond Spiders football team represented the University of Richmond in the 1965 NCAA football season.[1] The Spiders were led by 15th year head coach Ed Merrick and played their home games at City Stadium.[2] They were members of the Southern Conference. The 1965 campaign marked Merrick's final year as head coach after Richmond finished with a winless 0–10 (0–6 SoCon) record.[2][3]
