The 1964 Cotton Bowl Classic was a postseason college football bowl game held on January 1, 1964 in Dallas, Texas at Cotton Bowl. The game was a de fact national championship game featuring the second-ranked Navy Midshipmen and the first-ranked Texas Longhorns from the Southwest Conference. The Longhorns won the game 28–6.[1]
