The 1955 Navy Midshipmen football team represented the United States Naval Academy (USNA) during the 1955 college football season. Navy competed as an independent with no conference affiliation. They began the season ranked 8th in the pre-season AP Poll.[1] The team was led by sixth-year head coach Eddie Erdelatz.[2][3]
