The 1935 Ohio State Buckeyes football team represented the Ohio State University in the college footballseason of 1935-1936. The Buckeyes compiled a 7–1 (5-0 in the Big Ten) record. Schmidt got the first Big Ten title for the Bucks in 15 years and outscoring opponents 237-57. He became 2-0 vs Michigan this year as well, outscoring them 72-0 in two games against them.
